I just love it when a jeweler finds a clever way to introduce some kind of meaning and symbolism into their work. This Scientist turned Artist, Molecular Muse, has chosen to, in her words "commemorate molecules that both have a pleasing aesthetic quality as well as symbolic meaning."
This makes me think about the visionary researcher Masaru Emoto who wrote about the transformational properties that language, music, thought, ideas (and other things) have on water. His research shows that water is literally transformed on a molecular level by these things and theorizes that because our bodies are made up of 70% water, what we think, listen to, say etc. have the power to alter us. Beautiful! You can check out her work at molecularmuse.etsy.com
