Great way to green your product photography

So I needed to get some great pictures of my newest jewelry pieces. I usually try to use natural light for photographing them and it was unfortunately grey and rainy outside. Not the best situation for a photo op with time constraints and no real studio equipment. So I started to do some research online and found this great tutorial by Jeffrey Bail on dps / Digital Photography School about making an inexpensive light box for shooting your pieces. This is a project that costs next to nothing, is very effective and helps save the environment by using materials you most likely already have! Check out this DIY tutorial here. You can also see Jeffrey's work on flickr. Here is a pic I shot using my new light box.
